Virginia Leo is an Italian composer, sound designer, and pianist based in Texas who creates immersive, story driven soundscapes for games and interactive media, blending cinematic emotion with technical precision. Best known for her work on The Baby in Yellow (Team Terrible) and Wobbly Life: Space Update (RubberBandGames), her music has been performed by the Gateway Chamber Orchestra, Valley Symphony Orchestra, Density512, UNC Symphony Orchestra, and APSU Symphony Orchestra. She holds a degree in Sound for Games and Apps from dBs Institute and has spoken at events including PAX West and SXSW, as well as for the International Game Developers Association and the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers. She advocates for mentorship and the evolving role of sound in interactive storytelling.

Virginia Leo is an Italian composer, sound designer, and pianist based in Texas, creating immersive and emotionally rich audio experiences for video games and interactive media. With a deep love for storytelling through sound, she blends cinematic emotion with technical precision to deliver music and sound design that resonate with players across genres.
She is best known as the lead composer and sound designer for the viral indie hit "The Baby in Yellow" (Team Terrible), a title played by millions worldwide and performed live by the Gateway Chamber Orchestra, Valley Symphony Orchestra, Density512, UNC Symphony Orchestra, and APSU Symphony Orchestra.
Other credits include Wobbly Life: Space Update (RubberBandGames), Gemporium (Merge Conflict Studio), Sea Of Rifts (Out Of Bounds Games), and various VR experiences, as well as multiple award-winning game jam entries.
Virginia’s work is defined by her ability to adapt across styles, absorb a game’s lore and emotional tone, and deliver expressive, high-quality audio even under tight deadlines. Her classical and popular music background, combined with her dBs Institute degree, bridges traditional composition and modern audio implementation.
