Virginia Leo is an Italian composer, sound designer, vocalist, and pianist working in video games and interactive media. She is the lead composer and sound designer on The Baby in Yellow by Team Terrible, a viral indie horror game with over 300 million downloads worldwide. Additional credits include the music for the Wobbly Life: Space Update, a multiplayer sandbox game with over 2.8 million units sold. Her music has been performed by ensembles including the Gateway Chamber Orchestra, Valley Symphony Orchestra, Density512, UNC Symphony Orchestra, and APSU Symphony Orchestra. Alongside development work, Virginia is active in the game audio community through speaking and mentorship, with appearances at PAX, SXSW, IGDA, ASMAC, and Airwiggles AirCon, as well as guest lectures at Berklee College of Music, UNC, Texas A&M, and APSU.

Virginia Leo is an Italian composer, sound designer, vocalist, and pianist working across video games and interactive media. Her work combines adaptive audio, cinematic storytelling, expressive piano writing, and genre-flexible composition tailored to each game’s world, gameplay mechanics, and narrative.
She is the lead composer and sound designer on The Baby in Yellow by Team Terrible, a viral indie horror game with over 300 million downloads worldwide. In this role, she leads the majority of ongoing audio development in Unreal Engine, including music composition, sound design, VO editing and implementation. Her workflow focuses on tight integration between audio systems, player interaction, and narrative impact.
Additional credits include composing the music for the Wobbly Life: Space Update, a physics-based multiplayer sandbox game with over 2.8 million units sold worldwide. Her work has received competitive recognition, including 3rd place out of more than 2,400 entries in Ludum Dare 51 and selection as one of five recipients of the Stan LePard Memorial GDC Scholarship in 2023. Virginia also served as sole audio designer on a VR project developed under StoryTrails, nominated for the 2023 SXSW Innovation Awards, where she delivered full audio direction and implementation for an immersive interactive experience.
Her music has been performed by ensembles including the Gateway Chamber Orchestra, Valley Symphony Orchestra, Density512, UNC Symphony Orchestra, and APSU Symphony Orchestra.
